About the Role

This mandate is part of a panel of fractional Project Directors to lead specialist mandates as international cleantech companies enter India. This is not a consulting engagement — you join as a named team member, own senior client relationships, and drive real commercial outcomes.

Near-term mandates are in solar, batteries and agri-tech.

What You'll Do

• Act as the senior client liaison: set market entry strategy, lead BD outreach, open ecosystem conversations
• Represent the client credibly with startups, corporates, and government stakeholders in your sector
• Work across 1–2 concurrent mandates, typically 3+ months each

Who You Are

• Have commercialised a cleantech solution — you've been in the room where deals close, not just advised on them
• Carry genuine sector networks in solar, batteries, or agri-tech in India
• Think commercially and technically — you're as comfortable with a business case as with a technology roadmap
• Available for ~35–40% of your time; ideally an ex-founder or senior operator in transition

Not the right fit if you're a pure strategy consultant without hands-on sector execution experience.
